School finished at 1520, so it was a rush to get to the Marina Wharf at 1630. Once we were all there, we were briefed, assigned our watches and beds. On our way to Magnetic Island, the ship was rather rocky. We unpacked our bags, took photos and connected with our watchmates. Most of us had a go at steering the helm and are feeling more confident for tomorrow.
Dinner was butter chicken and we had cheesecake for dessert, both of which were delicious. We played Uno in our free time and filled in our logbooks for Duke of Edinburgh. Lights out at 2130 tonight and tomorrow we will have a knot competition, which white watch are keen to win.
Although we got out of watches today, White has an early morning watch at 0400 – 0800 tomorrow, so we will be up early. Rise and shine!
