South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Discovery Christian College

VOYAGE NUMBER:  20220829

FROM: Roslyn Bay to Bundaberg

DATE: 30 August 2022

POSITION: Pancake Creek

REPORT BY: Red Watch

Us girls woke up bright and early to our duties at midnight which included logging our surroundings and learning new knots. We then went back to sleep and woke up to Cape Capricorn’s beautiful sunrise.

While we were waiting for the knot tying competition, we saw a whale pop up with its calf. We got our togs on for the day and got to jump off the ship into refreshing water and swam to the island. As we were swimming, a fat dugong popped up. We explored the island. Some girls relaxed in the sun while others hiked up the hill to see a beautiful view.

We went back to the ship and set sail for the long day ahead of us. Today was a lot calmer than yesterday, and many of the girls started feeling better. We were hanging on the deck at sunset, and we saw three beautiful dolphins pop up and swam with the ship. We sailed to Pancake Creek. Hugh made us a delicious meal and desert (as usual) and now we are settling down for a quiet night. (The burgers are better at hungry Hughs).
