It’s a life change experience to experience sailing and to see the sea life which include whales, food, work, knot competition.

First stepping on the boat we realised that a new adventure would begin. The unfamiliar techniques and vocabulary through us a bit out of wack but after practising and getting the physical experience, it helped us to complete the day with flying colours.

Soon enough, we spotted something different out in the distance. As the sea came to life, we realised we weren’t on our own. A single spurt of water shot through the air flowed by some fins waving at us. There was a whale… no more than one! Everyone dropped what they were doing and rushed to each side of the boat gazing at the graceful animals going about there day. You could even go as far as saying they were having a whale of a time.

The next best thing that came to us today was the food. The amazing, tasty, incredible food! It saved us from starvation and helped us to regain our strength in order to complete the challenges ahead. The lights started to fade slowly. Orange, purple, pale pink and deep blue covered our surroundings. The knot tying competition announced the start of dinner. We had spent the whole day warming up for this strenuous competition but in the end the team that came through was of course the amazing speedy Blue team, but to be fair, every group had put in so much effort. All in all, today gave us new experiences and an adventure we had been craving.
