South Passage Daily Report

CLIENT: Mullumbimby High School

VOYAGE NUMBER: 20170306

FROM: Manly TO: Manly

DATE: 8 March 2017

POSITION: Big Sandhills, Moreton Island

Report by: White Watch

(Dear Mrs Sentence – Coen lost his shirt) We woke up around 5 and we practiced reef knots and figure of 8 knots. Then we did a knot comp which we lost at a time of 4 minutes (thanks Obelia). After we devoured our feast of a breakfast, we went to a beach where we swam. (Coen also found nasty gold chains).

After we got on the boat, another competition arrived. The crew had to change the backstays on and off as fast as our teenaged bodies could. White watch won the competition redeeming ourselves from our most embarrassing loss in the first competition.

After a torturous venture on the boat, we arrived at our destination. On a small boat after a long walk everyone made it to the towering mountains of Moreton Island that we trekked up and everyone careened down. When we got back to the boat everyone had showers and we will stay here for the night in dangerous waters ~ Coen, Josh and Logan
